If Spock, old Spock dies, they better do it right! I don't know what right is, but that's one heck of a responsibility, to kill Spock. He's died once already, just how do you end such an iconic character? It's very possible that's it, I could see Abrams go for it and I think he'll do it justice. I always wish they had done more with Spock in TNG, the story line they had with him was interesting.

It could be one of the main characters in the movie. Sybock died at the end of TFF, and he was one of the main characters in that film...

Very true, a major character could be a villian for all we know. Let's just keep safe specualtions.
