I don't think skants were pushing a PC agenda (surely the implied universal healthcare would be more insidious?) but if I recall it was one of those ideas to try and suggest that future humans didn't have the gender hangups that still exist in the present. But I don't think they lasted much past episode ten or so. I'm guessing thats why the reviewer had sorta forgotten they existed.

Granted, probably not one of Rod's strongest ways of doing so since there's only one way to put men in skirts and have it actually work.

I agree that it felt like a forced gender equalization agenda. Then again we'd probably have to ask women whether they consider men showing leg to be sexy or not.

Tobias Richter is working on 3D models of the models from the original movies and has already finishing high res models for the Next Generation ...I think CBS may have something planned.
