For those of us that are fans of ENT, there's a new book coming out.
This continues from the rewrite that was done, "The Good That Men Do," which I thought was well done. For those that don't like ENT, well....continue to not like it.

Here's the info:

Editor Margaret Clark announced at New York Comic Con in February 2007 that in September 2008, Andy Mangels and Michael A. Martin would continue the Enterprise relaunch with Kobayashi Maru, telling major events in Star Trek history! Clark said that, "we will see the NX-01 and the NX-02 and the unfolding history of Starfleet and the Coalition Compact...and the Klingons... and the Romulans."

In an interview on TrekMovie, Clark revealed much more, including the involvement of Captain Hernandez and the U.S.S. Columbia. She also revealed that this book will lead into a three-novel book about the Romulan Wars!

I like it...as long it's a continuation....

Especially if it leads into the Romulan Wars...I'll bet it becomes the all time best selling Trek books!

Wow ...very ambitious. I think I'll be picking it up as soon as it comes out.

Would be nice to have a series of novelks from the Romulan Wars.

Wouldn't it be cool if the Kobyashi Maru was an incident which instigated the Romulan War? I'm not sure how that would fit in but it seems the No win senario goes back a bit.

This is what ENT was leading up to before it's unfortunate demise....

I love that we'll see both the NX-01 & 02. Maybe the destruction of NX-01 and the intro to a new line?

And with the door being opened in "Last Full Measure", it would be great to see Trip have an active part in it..

When ENT first came out I had hoped that they would show the beginnings of the Maru. I imagine it much like the episode "Damage"....a "what would you do in my shoes" type shocker episode.
