There is one good classic moment in the TOS Trek meets X-men comic...when Dr. McCoy and Beast are standing side by side, and someone says: "Dr. McCoy?", and they both respond, "Yes?" and then look at each other.

Dr. Leonard McCoy and Dr. Hank McCoy.

So that one there was actually a second crossover, after an earlier one?

Going by that then, it wasn't even anything to do with Stewart starring as Xavier in the X-Men films, going by the publication dates.

It was done before then for some reason.

So it seems. I was of the impression there was a full-fledged ST/X-Men comic series, however I'm not finding evidence of it.

No, there were only two of them. And I think they were one-shots.

There was a TOS cross over and a TNG cross over. (In the TNG crossover, it would seem that Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat had the hots for Wesley Crusher....lucky bastich!)

And yeah, I think the TNG crossover was released well before the first Xmen movie.

They should not try to "reimagine" TOS episodes for the jj-verse. As evidenced by the nine panels shown, the whole thing is completely f***ed up as a football bat. Leave TOS alone already. STXI already f***ed things up enough. Now they just want to completely destroy the rest of TOS along with it. I'm not impressed.
