Default My Classic Constitution class...

I'm going to be helping a friend out with a series of TOS based Trek fanfilms by doing space-based VFX for him....so, since it takes place in the original series universe, I decided to go ahead and make the Classic Connie.

I think it turned out pretty good. It looks almost as if it came out of the Animated Series from '72-'74.

She has blinking nav lights, glowing sensor domes, and rotating Bussard collectors. I decided to give the impulse thrusters a blue engine glow. Gave a glow to the warp field radiators (the globes on the back of the warp engines) as well.

I'm also not far from finishing a variant of the Federation-class Dreadnaught, based on the one seen in Franz Joseph's Star Trek Technical Manual.

It does look like the animated Enterprise, doesn't it? I like that!

Thank you. Yeah, I was pretty proud of how that turned out.

(Tear in Eye) I really miss that ship. Yes a great visual for an "animated" Enterprise. You also could always go back and re-do outer visuals for TAS in the fashion the FX were re-done to TOS...

Wonder what that would look like...!!!...???

Thanks, Kevin and Futureguy.

More ships are on the way. I'm sure you've probably seen the Dreadnaught by now. I also have the scout/destroyer class, and I am working on the heavy tug class....with variant tug containers.
