Default I just realized that it's been more than two years

I just realized something. It's been over two years since Star Trek was in theaters. Which means it's been over two years since I've become fascinated with this:

I was thinking the same thing. I mean, not about the scene hehe! I remember your obsession with the boots hehe! But I was thinking more in terms of if the hype for the next film will still be around by the time it hits theaters. Gosh, I hope so...

I find it frustrating when a movie gets made, is successful, and the sequel is promised but not made for a long time. Shows that the people at the top are not really committed to the franchise.

Or it shows that the people responsible for the actual production are wanting to ensure that time spent in production ensures a quality film.

Fans - you can't ever please them.

You're either doing it too fast or not doing it fast enough for them. Gotta love folks who whine no matter what. No one has any patience anymore.

I hope that it'll be like Goldelocks and the 3 bears, not coming out too soon, not too late... just right when it's meant to.

The Romulan boot? What tipped you off? The TRansformers sequel? Another disappointment regarding new movie universe trek are the novels that have come out. They are all juvenile romance/mystery stories centered around Starfleet Academy days.
