Default Check Out My New Ride!

Okay, just had to post this! My wife and I just bought a new (well, new to us anyway) car! It's a 1996 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra convertible. It's black with black top and tan/black leather interior. It has a 305hp version of the Lincoln Mark VIII's 4.6L DOHC aluminum V-8 and 5-speed manual transmission. It's also got Eibach lowering springs, Magnaflow mufflers, 17" Cobra R wheels, and caster/camber plates. This car is BAD-A$$!!! And the best part is it only has 45K documented original miles!!! And we bought it for less than blue book value! And there's NOTHING wrong with it! We're taking turns driving it to work. It was my turn today. This car is pretty rare too. Ford only made a little over 2500 Cobra convertibles in '96. I still can't believe I've got a Mustang Cobra convertible sitting in my driveway! I'm a happy guy!

That's not a Mustang. This is a Mustang.

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Congrats.

Yeah. Pretty much. I come from a whole family of Ford nuts. I've got two Lincoln Mark VIII's and an Explorer 4x4 in addition to the Cobra. Every vehicle I've ever had has been a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury. I've had Mustangs, Thunderbirds, Cougars, Fairlanes, Crown Vics, Town Cars, Continentals, among others. I just can't see buying any other American car except Ford (well, with the possible exception of a Chrysler 300 or Dodge Charger or Challenger). Now as far as imports, I'm not into Japanese cars, but I love German cars. Anything from BMW, Mercedes, or Audi (as long as it's AWD and not FWD) would work for me. Then from merry ol' England there's Aston Martin. Way out of my price range, but still the most beautifully styled cars on the road today. I'm just basically a car nut
