Default Another Technical Question…

Electromagnetic Waves

Could electromagnetic waves emitted from a device designed to detect objects under ice; as in terrain mapping radar, affect electronic equipment that was buried (for years in an insulated (from Cold) container) beneath the ice?

Hope that makes sense?

I am looking for a way to explain the reactivation of a dormant device buried under the ice for a long time, as in say the timer of a nuclear bomb?

Thanks

Unlikely, but perfectly plausible! I say: Go for it!

I think I'm going to go with Seismic charges. It's more likely a shock would actually jar something, like a damaged/exposed loose wire etc.
