Default Technical question?

Lets say we have a fuel cell in part of a spacecraft that is in a vaccum. The fuel cell has an insulated cable that distributes the power to the rest of the spacecraft. If that cable were to be damaged by say a micro-meteoroid would the damaged part of the exposed cable spark against the uninsulated metal of the spacecraft if it were to come in contact with it?

Thanks for any help

An electrical spark? I don't see why it wouldn't.

No problem! By the way, what's up with this website today? It's responding very slowly.

Might depend on what servers you are being routed through. Sometimes I have a similar problem trying to connect with say the UK or even local sites.

Actually noticed an error this morning and received an error loading message. Maybe the hosting server it being fiddled with in preparation for a new forum or something.
