Actually, I'm not the best person to tell you how things are going, since although I check in regularly and read what others have to say, I rarely actually post anything anymore. I guess I just happened to be the first person willing to comment on this. Tell Zardoz we all miss him! An dof course, we miss you too! Good to see you again, man!
Hey Admiral. Glad to see you came over to STL to see what's going on for yourself...

At least here you don't have to worry about someone waiting to report you at the first sight of your name like it is for me at st.com...that's how bad things are over there now. Most of the oldtimers have either been banned or left in disgust. Many, thankfully, came to my place, and even some of the young'uns have followed.

Let's put it this way, Saquist...

Last July before things really started going downhill at st.com and the new site went online, STL had been around for 4-1/2 years and had only about 10,000 posts.

As of this morning, about nine months later, we are over 85,000.

Been hoping you'd come and join the party...

As you've now seen, there's quite a bit to nosey about in!

Yes, it seems quite a mixed group so far.

How were you able to keep your rank over there? I was finally able to drop the last initial from my name (something I'd gotten out of the habit of even remembering to try to do), but now I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't have.

A Crate of Romulan Ale...............................

(And I don't do junior ranks, I like the perks of the post!!)

However, more seriously, SB should be able to credit any balance you had from here to you on his. He offered to do that for me and it seemed others had done it as well so I figured may as well also.

Come............join the debate on Delta Vega like it's 2009 again!!!

it would be nice if we had some new Trek material to talk about.
I have been looking for a new forum ever since I requested to be banned from Sci Forums but I don't know if I want to deal with another set of moderators, I start to get sick of their individual quirks where they interpret the rules. When we had moderation here at least it was consistent and precise to the rules. And I'm already appart of two Trek sites...It's already redundant.

Is there anyone there doing signatures and avatars?

I don't think that particular debate will ever die!

As far as the mod staff and two associate admins go, they answer to me, I am the final word as far as rulings and discipline. And discipline is something not often seen, thanks to the members we have at STL. Usually it's only the acts of people that show up with the intent of causing trouble that bring on the need for administrative action. The Invision rules (the hosting company) and specific STL rules are posted.

So far Zardoz, I-Am-Zim, Admiral Archer, samwise, Kevin and jla1987 have all joined STL from here.

Roboto, who is an st.com member but also posts at STL, makes sigs and avis on request.

Now stop dragging your feet already!!
