BB-

You can have good debates without resrting to rudeness (not speaking to you personally). But even "jokes" can be misunderstood. We cannot see a writer's face, or hear their tone to know they meant it as funny.

Well, I for one believe in an eternal Creator God,(but I'm not a religious fanatic mind you!), but I don't find that at all incompatible with Trek. In fact I honestly believe that mankind's ultimate destiny has EVERYTHING to do with what you see in the night sky,( and I could write volumes on this subject but I won't here.)

Not a problem. I'm one of the lucky one's I guess, I've always had an ability to make make friends with just about anybody easily. In the 20 years I spent in the service I worked with people from all walks of life, colors, creeds, and viewpoints- you learn to work as a team for a common cause, in this case, defending our freedoms.

Kurt-

Then if you can accpet others without having to agree with them, then you embody IDIC.

Like you insinuated, freedom is for all.
