............revealed!
http://www.ropeofsilicon.com/article...k-knight-rises I'm not sure if this is a good choice or not. I'm fairly so-so on her as an actress so far. Also revealed is the character that Tom Hardy will be playing.

Oh man! I love me some Anne Hathaway!!! I think she'll do quite well as Catwoman. Even if not, she's real easy on the eyes

And I am glad to see that Tom Hardy's career was not ruined by the failed Star Trek Nemesis (still my favorite TNG film, hands down, despite its myriad flaws). ![]()

Look like the new Catwoman does indeed make some "Dark Knights" rise.

I just hope he keeps the quality up. The first two were awesome, and The Dark Knight is going to be tough to top. That version of The Joker has to be up there with all the top movie villains of all time. He's right there with guys like Vader and Khan if you ask me.

I hear you on that. It's to bad they didn't pick her for "Begins."

Considering she was essentially an actress known for 'Dawson's Creek' and her TV work, I have to say that I really thought that Holmes acquitted herself surprisingly well against some of the heavyweights in the cast of 'Batman Begins'. She wasn't at all the weak link that she could have been.
But then she didn't want to come back for the sequel so.............. But then I guess that just implies again that Nolan knows what he's doing when he casts. There were people who were unhappy at the start of 'The Dark Knight's' production process when Ledger was cast as The Joker. And he proved them wrong in the film, so even though on a lot of forums there's a question mark over Hathaway from some folks, Nolan probably knows what he's doing.

This actress wasn't bad but she was hardly as good as Gyllenhaal.
I wonder whether Catwoman will work, she seems to fit better into the closer-to-the-comics Burton-world than into the hyperreal Nolan-world. |
