For anyone who is thinking of buying DC Universe Online for their PS3, be forewarned: The game will take about two to three hours to download files it needs to play, as the game is supposed to be a Massively Multiplayer Online game (MMO). It requires 16 GB of HDD space on your PS3. The first 12GB of material only took about 37 mins to download, but there is an additional 2 to 3 GB of material that it downloads, and this portion looks (for whatever reason) to take about 2-3 hours to do so. So, I'll probably end up having to go to work before download is complete, and then at that, hope it'll be in some semblance of readiness for play when I get back.
I look forward to playing the game, but wow...the wait...seems an eternity.I hope it's worth it. ![]()

So far the game is ok. But MMO's generally don't hold my interest for long. Even STO couldn't hold my interest but a couple of months.

STO was awful...so awful. What a missed opportunity.
