Other folks need to "suck it up" and "get over" the fact that all Trek fans aren't going to fall in line like good little sheep and blindly accept this abrams rubbish as the new era of Star Trek. Some of us over 25 year fans of the "real" Star Trek just can't get into the new abrams-ified fake Trek. For us, it's not Trek. It's like a bad photocopy. You can see the shape of things in the picture and it looks like something familiar, but it's just not the same. I will never accept abrams' pseudo-trek as the next phase of Star Trek. For me, TOS/TAS/The Movies/TNG/DS9/VOY...and yes...even ENT will always be true Star Trek. All abrams did was took something great and cheapened it and dumbed it down for a modern, short attention span, "I like purdy gurls flashythingies and stuffgoboom" audience. It's pathetic.

Oh, that's totally fine - just keep in mind those who liked it also won't be 'falling into line' with those who didn't like it either.
So, seems both will have to suck it up.

What happened to this being ONLY a thread that ONLY positive thoughts would be posted on?
 Well, I'll be off again. Nice to see some old faces, too bad the naysayers scared me away again.
