Resident Evil
The first Resident Evil film really left a lasting impression on me and really disturbed me. Wow, you have no idea how much that scene in the laser room messed with my mind, lol! It was so freaky and to this day, I sometimes try to avoid watching the original movie due to that scene. The other movies, with the exception of the newest one, are more like suspense action films more so than horror films. I couldn't tell you one part from Apocalypse or Extinction that really stayed with me like the scene from the first movie. There is a scene in Extinction where Dr. Issacs gouges out the eyes of one of the Umbrella operative. That part was pretty deep.
But yeah, I would have to say that the newest film brings the disturbing horror that the first film had. Wow, there are some really deep scenes in the new one, and to be honest, I am thinking about watching it again today. I was very disappointed when I found out that Afterlife was going to be in 3D, but after seeing it, I really didn't mind it that much. Especially since there wasn't some big-*** dude blocking the view, haha! But yeah, you guys should definitely check out the new movie! Good entertainment! That said, on with yet another poll!

Yeah, I've liked the Resident Evil movies. Even though they kinda go on their own tack, they are pretty fun to watch....not to mention, Milla Jovovich is just....PHWOAAARRR!!!!!
I'm just glad that George Romero did not get a hold of the Resident Evil movies....he would've completely sapped the spirit of the game from the movies. I have yet to see this one on the big screen, but I want to. BTW, check out the CGI movie Resident Evil: Degeneration. It has the original voice cast from Resident Evil 4....including Alyson Court, who has voiced the character of Claire Redfield ever since Resident Evil 2 came out in 1995. (I think that was the year.) So, yeah, she's been the official voice of Claire for almost 20 years. Ali Larter played Claire in Resident Evil: Extinction, and she made a pretty nice looking Claire, but I love Alyson Court's voice.

The movies all suck. The games are so much better.
 I have to say that there has never been a good video game movie made yet.

Silent Hill was a pretty good game to movie translation. Even used music straight from the games, especially from SH 3 (my favorite).
