I didn't seem them wearing their boots at the Klingon prison planet. It looked like they were wearing brown socks or something

It's too bad that scene wasn't actually in the movie

1. Recycling of individual Prime villains (e.g. Khan).
2. A bunch of lense flares.
3. Keenser acting like Scotty’s pet Ewok.

I’m sure there are a few more things here and there. In general, I enjoyed the movie and I am open to whatever they want to present. I just hope TPTB have learned a few lessons about what will work better in the next film.

Hey, I liked Keenser. LOL!

Interesting note about the actor who played Keenser, Deep Roy. (Kurdeep Roy)
If you ever saw the Tim Burton/Johnny Depp version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Deep Roy played every single Oompa Loompa in the movie, a fact which did not sit well with other actors of small stature...they felt he could put them out of work with what he did.

IIRC, Deep Roy's credits include Return of the Jedi and the 1980 Flash Gordon movie. The little guy certainly gets around.

I thought they just CGI'd him like a million times anyway?

For most actions (involving dance, yeah they copy composited him a lot). Other more individual actions (like working in the factory, and interacting with the other characters was probably a little more intensive and varied in the compositing.) Regardless, Deep Roy had his work cut out for him.
