I don't want to hear any dialogue which makes you feel as if the movie you are watching is more of a homage or parody of something that came before instead of something new.
I don't want to see stupid green frat girls pretending to be Orions.
I don't want to see or hear anything which cries "popcorny, comic-book-style pop trash" (and that's why I don't mind characters quoting classical literature like crazy, it's a simple Meyerian trick to pimp your script).
I don't want to see a 'lowest common denominator' type of movie (OK, that's just the above point rephrased).
I second every bit of that!

well I think old school trekkies should ignore Star Trek 09 if they don't like or care about it and anyway what is it you if JJ has put his own stamp on Star Trek?

You might be lucky - it will probably be Quinto's turn next to homage Nimoy's shirtless scene in TOS that sent a hundred thousand women (and probably a few guys) into a frenzy!!

Maybe a delightful 'pillow talk' scene with Uhura?

It'd be nice to see them making a go of it for the long term............
