yeah i didnt like the date being moved but if it's gonna allow more time to make the movie even better then why not.

it's just 6 months and i gaurantee ill be the first at the theatre
Digital, check the thread again, only one of us is talking boycotting, I think.

All the people who say they will boycott the movie are talking crap.

On opening day they will be FIRST in line, and will probably see the movie eight times that day.

The next day they'll be online debating whether the nacelle caps were the right shade of red.

Cool, I get a better parking spot hopefully.

And I won't have to woo the blue skinned meter maid out of a ticket either, with any luck.

Do what you want to do, but i'm not missing it. I'll stand in line to get my ticket like every other normal shmuck, because i AM a fan and i'm supporting this film all the way. You can sit home and do the same old boring thing you always do, twiddle your thumbs or play the same old video game the hundreth time, or whatever. But on opening night May 2009, if i'm lucky enough to still be alive and able to walk, i'm going to be in the 23rd century watching the Enterprise boldly go. Enjoy that freezer burnt corn dog dude!

You certainly have the right to boldly not go where everyone else will be going next May. Do so through opening day and you'll have proved your nerves of steel and integrity, that's for sure!

Me, I can resist everything but temptation. TREK tasks me and I will have it!
