I think this is the most childish, immature statement I have heard yet!! Believe me, no one will try to convince you of anything, we don't want you to hold your breath till you turn blue.

What is wrong with Paramount wanting to get the most bang for it's buck?
The early May slot is traditionaly very profitable.

Ladies and gentlemen

spock84 will be boycotting XI.

This is the end.

This is the end of civilisation.

The skies over England right now are beginning to turn blood red.

So...if the movie is just wonderful, who will you hurt by your boycott? Yourself, right? Isn't that sort of a silly boycott concept?

But, hey...I'm a fan of the "personal boycott"...I believe in it, so you stand strong...no matter how much your friends love the movie, no matter how much critical praise it gets, you refuse to see it (or buy the DVD...that's part of supporting the evil empire after all). Stand strong!

Great Scott!

But seriously, why boycott a movie cause they delayed the premier? Like Stucky said, it's a more ripe season for movies and who knows, maybe the extra time with give Abrams time to make the best picture he and the crew can with that 'limited' budget of theirs. Many times many changes are made to movies in post, sometimes huge changes, let's just hope the changes are for the better. No reason to go boycotting.

HRH THE KING- HAHAHAHAHAHA! That was a funny reply about the end of civilization. haha. Hey, what else do we have to occupy ourselves? No pictures, no new trailers...not even really interesting rumors right now. I guess in dry times like these we must look to each other for entertainment. Send in the clowns!

sorry I just have to lol at this FAIL thread, you all whine about trek movies not being good as they were before, yet you get pissed off and come up with a boycott trek over a date change,, ask yourself, do you want the movie to succeed or not

yeah i didnt like the date being moved but if it's gonna allow more time to make the movie even better then why not.

it's just 6 months and i gaurantee ill be the first at the theatre
