I got in as far as a message saying the site was down for maintenance. But with no date of restoration.

Not all that normal...most Invision boards have pretty good track records as far as I know.

It seems to be back up an running again. I think it does have periodic maintenance but not always do folks get notified of it.

Seems the site is a goner for me. I can view it but every time I try and log in it takes forever, and then when it does accept my login details when it clicks back to the main menu I've been logged out.

I have no idea if that is caused by my computer or something to do with the host site - but until one of them gets their act together seems I'm outta the place.

I'm just tired of being invited to every Tom-Dick and Harry site some one puts up.
There is never enough people and when they are the moderators are bunch panty-bunching curmudgeons.

I prefer to stay here and Gateworld.
