Yep and this is the great thing about this digital grading stuff, you can influence the atmosphere of the movie. But the use of it lessens the use of other dramatic or movie magic devices, just think about what good black and white movies could achieve without colours that express warmth or coldness ro whatever.

Yeah, being able to tinker with things like skies and backdrops and colours has it's plusses and it's minuses depending on the film and how the director employs them.

To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the bleak color use in Live Free or Die Hard, but I've gotten used to it.
