Yeah, Batman Begins was lame and I was expecting more. At first I was against the whole Batman reboot thing, but I figured since there was no where else to go with it, they had to go back to basics. But yeah, I thing Inception is way above A.I.
The Dark Knight Inception A.I. Here is my order of films with Spielberg and Nolan Spielberg: Minority Report A.I. Nolan: The Dark Knight Inception

I find BB and TDK all right as they go.

Not to change the subject, but what do they do now since cassette tapes are obsolete?

Well, Minority Report is the typical end result of Spielberg magic, not an eternal masterpiece but a well-balanced, intelligent and entertaining movie.

Quark - That's a good question, I don't have an answer though.

One interesting problem with the film though, was the look of Washington, D.C. If you look at the city and how it was all futuristic with those cars driving on the walls and all, and look at how Washington looked like at the end, isn't there a huge difference? At the end of the film right by the monument, you see the cityscape as it looks in the present time, and when you see him in the apartment of the person he was supposed to kill, Leo Crow, the buildings outside the windows look totally normal. Yet, if this was to take place in the future, you'd think that all the city scape would look the same and not just that one area was near Pre-Crime H.Q.

I didn't notice the löack of a futuristic cityscape at the end but the colour changing thing is IMO sometimes a bit overdone in the 00s. But then again it is a new technology so it is kinda natural that it is sometimes used too strongly.

Yeah, but isn't that taking account of the building restrictions in D.C that prevent skyscrapers being built etc in the heart of the city?
Like how within a certain radius of The Capitol no buildings can be built taller than the top of it? Which is why it's a relatively low-skylined city? It kinda looked to me as if some of the futuristic highways had been grafted onto existing buildings as well as some new ones.
