Cool

Mine's picked up a lot of disgruntled st.com members...

Apparently the person who is making more and more disgruntled members every day is a member here too...someone whose ego and paranoia (coupled with the use of numerous duals) has made him the reason posting has dropped on the new boards...so he creates more duals to make things look busy.

It's always fun watching duallers answer themselves in threads with their various IDs...

sb, I keep meaning to post over there. But being a member of 3 forums (and a mod on 2) doesn't leave me alot of online time.

But, I'll try to post over there soon.

I don't get this multiple ID thing - if they can be detected, what's the point in the first place?

You sound like me...I'm an admin at STL and theofficialsoulpatrol.com and a regular member of 4 or 5 other boards...plus ones I visit semi-regularly...

No rush.

Duallers will often use a different provider for their other IDs or use Proxys so the IP addys don't match.

Quite often, the easiest way to spot a dual is to be familiar with how your regular suspects post. Their style after a while becomes a voice.

In some cases like the current one, their arrogance and bad attitude usually gives them away before anything else.

Though I get this explanation more easily.
