The rest of the site looks ok as sites go. Functional and straightforward without anything particularly standout to recommend it design-wise.

Since I have all the episodes I wish to on DVD and play them through my Blu-ray machine and HD TV I don't really need the viewing options offered through the site but they could be good for those who haven't maybe seen them so.

The forums aren't up to much though.

I'll probably check in there for news etc from time to time but I can tell it's not going to be a place to spend a lot of time on otherwise.

Also, the writing is dry to say the least.
You said it...MAJOR refinement.

All they had to do was fix what was broken and update the existing site...all this redesign, most of which doesn't work, was needless.

The forums have been built on HTML code rather than BB code...don't ask why, don't know...still lots of bugs.

I only have season 1 of TOS on HD-DVD/DVD combo, so I'm all in favor of any episodes from any series they want to release.

I'm hoping they add full episodes of DS9 to the website. I haven't seen that show in awhile and I'm interested in rewatching them.

First time I looked in on the new site it was all over the place. (Threads ordered every which way!) But now I think it's okay with the improvements they've made so far.

Still not great, but I stick around for a chance to see all the old familiar faces. I think there will be more ironing out of bugs etc by the looks of things -- I mean T.I.I.C. listen eventually don't they?

As for me I'm going to give them time.

PS.Actually I haven't been on here for quite a while, but not because of any dislike for this place -- I just haven't gotten around to it before today.

Hey, everyone has a life beyond the keyboard, don't worry about stuff like that!

We've given them going on SEVEN weeks now...the posts are still stuck in reverse order, emotes still vanish if you have to edit a post, there's still no PM system, some people's posts come out running down the page in a vertical column...don't know why they wouldn't just start from square one when there's so much not right.

We salute his sacrifice, so that other's may appreciate life beyond the keyboard and find a way to embrace it.
