Default The Menagerie Extended Edition

Hello all!

I have just posted my extended version of "The Menagerie" on YouTube. You can find it here. I used the remastered versions of both "The Menagerie" parts 1 and 2 as well as the remastered version of "The Cage" to compile this extended movie. I edited in all the footage from "The Cage" that wasn't included in "The Menagerie". I think it turned out quite well. I hope you enjoy!

I swear at some point I'm gonna sit and watch your work. It's on the 'to-do' list!

I hope so. It's quite enjoyable, if I do say so myself. Video editing is my forte'. I'm pretty good at it.

Sorry to say, but in Part 1, you forgot the Prologue. You know, the part before the opening credits.

Haven't watched the rest.

I saw a good part of your tribble editing, which I found pretty impressing.
It gives a good insight how much care was given to fit those episodes together.
Very enjoyful, thanks.

Actually, I re-arranged it a bit. I put the opening credits at the beginning and edited the prologue in with the rest of the show to make it more seamless.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun putting all that together. The only problem I had was that I don't have the software to add characters or manipulate backgrounds. So some of the transitions from TOS to DS9 where the DS9 characters aren't in the scene in the original, look kind of wierd. Like the scene when Kirk is questioning the officers from the bar fight, for example. In order to get Kirk's log entry in there, I had to splice that scene in with the one from DS9 where O'Brien and Bashir are there. So one second you see the original officers, then it changes to O'Brien and Bashir. I tried to keep it as seamless as possible, but it can still be a bit jarring.
