Default Having problem with my tv built in dvd player

It just can't read my dvds for some reason can you give me some advice

No it isn't I was trying to watch Star Trek the original series episode The City on the edge of forever and just before the intro and music it just stopped reading the disc the player any advice.

I'm not sure, what exactly happens. Does it keep trying to read it, is it spinning?

yes it does spin but it won't read it

Could be dirt on the reader or something interferring with the laser. Not sure what to tell you.
