Well, as of March 28th I finally have my very own PS3. Man, I haven't played video games for quite some time and to get back into the groove of things has gone nicely! I'm happy for this! Now, I already have wasted a whole day playing the new (new for me anyway) Grand Theft Auto IV, and I just love it! It brings back memories from when GTA III came out for the PS2 way back in 2001! Man...has it been that long ago? Anyway, it's nice to have a video game system less than ten years old. Hehehe. This particular PS3 model cost $400 and the controllers are even connected to a USB port. The controller charges I guess and after it's done you can use it wireless. That sounds pretty chill, huh?

Anyway, yeah this game is fun and the story is good as well. I hope to play it a lot, as well as do my school work, stay on top of my jobs and all that as well as still have a social life. I will probably get sick of it soon after playing so much...but I doubt it. In any case, I'm grateful for having this game and this system! Should be fun!

Yeah, I hear you on that. I can get a pretty bad outburst when I lost a misson on the Grand Theft Auto games haha. "I am in control of my emotions, I am in control of my emotions." LOL

Tell me about it. Just the other day I was playing Connect Four--with my friend/flirt/maybe something more --and she kept winning and I was going crazy haha! It was fun and she was having fun. But it was actually amazing since she won every single round...except for like two haha!

I usually get irked when I'm having a bad day on Modern Warfare 2 in Free For All Deathmatch, but I stay off the headsets so no one else hear's me b**chin'.


I love my PS3. Heavy Rain, Uncharted, Uncharted 2, Resistance, the Call of Duty series, Killzone 2, the list goes on. I also have an Xbox 360. I have tons o' games for both.

And thankfully, my PS3 is still the original 60GB model, so I can play my old PS2 and PS1 titles on it.

Heavy Rain is a really, REALLY cool game. And I just downloaded the first of the add-ons for it, a prequel adventure involving Madison (the chick)....it's her first assignment as a journalist, and I think it involves another serial killer.

Give it a few months, HR may come down in price then. Also, you can check the local GameStops for used copies of the title. Right now, used prices may only be just a few dollars less than retail...it depends on how hot a seller the game is.

BTW, Martok, do you know of any good third party PS3 controllers? The Sony-made ones are all 40+ bucks.
