Since April 23rd, about 15 members have been suspended or banned...

The admin/mod wants the CBS TOU and the Board Guidelines followed to the letter, but there are grey areas opening as far as how some subjects in Star Trek relate to subjects listed in the TOU as unkosher...or just what is and isn't allowed in general.

He threatens the boards with closure during an apparent loss of temper, yet CBS Special Products head Liz Kalodner in announcing the impending new Star Trek.com will have a "thriving community."

Posting is down, Ten Forward is a minefield, and the admin is acting in an unprofessional manner.

Does anyone know who ST Yellowshirt was and any way we can get him to go work for CBS Interactive? We can't get our original admin at st.com, Marc Wade back (he now works at Disney), we need someone who knows how to run a Star Trek board...

The show forums are actually pretty calm for the most part...the Voyager board can get in an uproar at times, yet the TOS board is one of the nicest places on the net.

Ten Forward, the general discussion board, is not for the faint of heart. But if you can post on Ten Forward and be an accepted, active poster there, you can post ANYWHERE.

^ Ten Forward is General Discussions on st.com. In other words, a non-Star Trek forum. Used to be an absolute hive of activity until the Powers That Be decided it was a wretched hive of scum and villiany, and the merest toe out of line, and you were in danger of being exterminated, and some have.

So when innocent members were being banned for the most ridiculous reasons while a notorious spammer was allowed to ceate multiple accounts and constantly push the report button, some members took there business elsewhere. Very few left on Ten Forward now. Which is a shame, cos I genuinely love the place.

The place is on it's death knell.

Thank you, sonofspock1. I guess I tend to find a place, and then stay there, ergo I have not been to that site.

I still enjoy this site, even if I don't post as much as I should.
