Yea, they could do one where Spock comes through the vortex.......ahead of Nero. Kelvin is spared and SF is given a good advance notice of Nero's eventual appearance and he is then met by a force that is adequately prepared to defeat him.

Or they just have Spock be successful in the 24th century in stopping the Hobus star from going nova, thus saving Romulus and Remus...and ushering in a new era of peace between the Empire and the Federation.

The new startrek.com went online last night...all I can say is, remember in STV when the Enterprise was in no shape to be sent to Nimbus III? That's what the new site is like...existing members can't get in, the store isn't working, some things look incomplete...overall, the only people on the boards are either brand new members, existing members who have made dual accounts, or plants who seem to be the ones saying how great the new site is.

FWIW, is it going to be worth the effort to register there? Too bad they could not just pull a Borg and "assimilate" these boards and members into ST.com or vice/versa.

Has someone been checking on things?

Anyway, the boards at st.com are still FUBAR...people are still having problems logging in and staying logged in.

Wonder if it has anything to do with them using coding for the boards set to 1999 standards...?

If this forum "worked" so well and I would agree with that, why did the use of it fall off as it did. Many of the same people have been using the other forums or are at least registered there, so what happened here?
Look at the several (many) who have checked in here to at least say hello, after a long absence. If the activity here picked up to a level approaching some of the others, maybe the moderators could/would return giving assurance that this forum would not be shut down and possibly even expanded. Just Maybe! Just Hoping!

I just noticed that also. There's a "rant" and a single "thumb up" , besides the that was not there a couple of days ago. They may have been in the expanded view of emotes that have been recently been moved to the prime selections.

.......................sort of like something came from an alternate emote universe and entered this one?
