I'm not usually one to gripe about such things, but this seems to becoming more common of late.

We are going to disagree on here, that's just the way it is.

But I feel name calling, putdowns, rudenss, is not acceptable ways of making your case.

If you cannot make your case using logic, or soemthing "my feeling is that...:", or just saying what your saying without rudeness.

Come on, a little respect folks!! For yourself, and each other here.

Hope we can manage to keep it that way. One of the things that kept me lurking vs. posting on the old ST boards was the attitude that was prevalent over many of the messages there.

I respect others, even if I don't agree with them. I at least acknowlege they have a veiw on whatever topic.

So many people here are like that, but we are getting more and more who use insults to make their points, or put downs of people's likes.

That's just wrong, and we as members of this board should ALL try and discourage this.

Just the rudeness needs to stop. We can all help each other to keep each other streight.

What I find is far too many people that post on this site have there own point of view on something and they have no intention of possibly seeing that point from a different perspective, all they do is argue they are right. The majority of the topics on this site are not right or wrong so there is no point in trying to force you "right" opinion on others, state your opinion and leave it at that.

Look, I've run into that myself. Your not going to make someone see things as you do, just not going to happen.

But you can say, "I see your point, and can agree to disagree." or soemthing of that nature. It's what I do. But use your own way, of course.

I just want the "All fan of (blank) are (blank blank blank)." type of stuff to stop, or at least go way down. I think we all can agree on that.

There's more than one person on here I have back and forth debates with, and that's what this place is for, in part, but there's allways respect, even when we don't see "eye to eye."

As members of this forum, it is on all of us to watch ourselves and help guide others to debate and post with at leats a minimum of respect for each other.

I don't expect everyone to see my way, in fact that would make things very boring but if someone is going to tell me I'm wrong when there is no right or wrong answer I will call them on it.

I agree with you on that, no one can speak for everyone.

Mutual respect is nice but you can't control everyone's actions.
