Guess 3D ticket prices really do help - as Alice in Wonderland has found!

Because the Titanic ran into the Iceberg and not the other way around.

My brother, like Kevin, was a huge fan of the historical Titanic, and insisted on buying the video and watching it EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY for about two years. That, plus some really stupid and embarrassing things my "girlfriend" made me do at the time (she wasn't really my girlfriend, considering we were both 9 years old and had no idea what the concept meant).

Just to be on the safe side, I would like to establish that I did NOT watch the tape (oh, seems like so long ago - VHS!) that frequently after I bought it.

Oh, sorry Kevin, didn't mean to imply that you did.

In any case, Avatar (in contrasting with Titanic) was more than just a movie to me. It was an experience, and it was something that normal movie rules don't apply to. Plot holes, inconsistencies, I saw none. Not that they were not present, but that the illusion of reality was so incredible that it suppressed any doubts I could have had about the film. Titanic was just another chick flick dressed really elaborately in a big bow.

Lol! It's fine - I knew you didn't mean it that way. I only watched it once a week after I bought it!!
