The middle act of that movie was like being stuck at the funeral of someone you don't know.

It's not on TV much. I once caught the end of it - which (understandably) made little sense.

It did! Which was really a disappointment, as I was really enjoying everything they were doing with the Palimino, and the approach to the Cygnus... (ever notice how much "Event Horizion" ripped this movie off?) But once they got on that ship's bridge, everything ground to a halt until we got to the countdown...
