Pretty big (LOL!), but like diamonds, in there raw, unrefined form, they are in massive structures, chunks, and blocks. Once they are mined, they look the way we're used to seeing them.

But didn't most of us "know" that he was toast as soon as he stepped foot on the shuttle?
