Metropolis restored version live
Metropolis was one of the very first sci-fi movies.
The original version from 1927 was considered lost, but in 2008 the missing 25 minutes were found in a small movie museum. The whole film has been restored and the missing scenes have been included according to notes on the soundtrack made by the composer back then. Today is the world premiere of this restored original version - the first time the full version is shown after 83 years!
