Default J.D Salinger dies at age 91

http://news-briefs.ew.com/2010/01/28/jd-salinger-dead/

I can't imagine anyone who hasn't read 'Catcher in the Rye' at least once in their life.

Then allow me to defy your imagination, as I have not read it.

I'll probably pick it up and read it someday. Sounds intriguing.

RIP

Nope. It may have been in a literature/English class that I didn't take, but we didn't have to read it in any of my classes.

Nope. For Higher English we read: 1984, The Great Gatsby, Hamlet, The Crucible and the war poets (depressing or what?)

For O' Grade (showing my age here) we read: Of Mice and Men, Julius Caesar and that's all I can remember.
