Default Let's Not have Kirk Womanizing In This Film.

I am really hoping we don't get "Kirk gets another" in this film.

What do you guys think?

Captain Kirk not getting any? Isn't that anti-canon?

Well, I think it wouldn't be Kirk if we didn't at least get to see how the ladies find him attractive and he's not unwilling to use that. But it can fall short of "womanizing".

Yeah, but that was also kind of a period thing, too. I mean, it was the 60's and the swashbuckling hero always got the babes, Zardoz. LOL

Good point. They kinda tried to do it with Riker in TNG and it worked for a little while but it got old fast, IMO. Times have changed and this movie is not being built according to a 60's mentality.

I think they have to play it safe. One of the things that killed of TNG movies was that they changed the characters. Same actors, same character names but different to the characters we had come to know over seven years.
With new actors there is already a risk so i think it would be a more conservative move to have Captain James T Kirk in full form.

It would be completely un serious to have that in the film...
the series was sort of a spectacle...I want them to go more straight and narrow on this one.
