An Enterprising New Ship! This is an all-new kit of the new U.S.S. Enterprise, as seen in the hit 2009 Star Trek movie. Leonard Nimoy returns as an older Spock, who travels back in time along with the villainous, revenge seeking Nero, inadvertently creating an alternate reality that sees some very familiar characters — Kirk, McCoy, and Spock — early in their careers as they are just embarking on their own exciting “Star Trek.”
This model kit is based on the CGI files used to make the movie and will include aztecing decals along with marking decals. Featuring all-new packaging art by the new ship’s designer, Ryan Church.

I want the 1/350 scale TOS Enterprise.

And the 1/1000 Enterprise A/refit.

If i was any good at painting models I'd get one. But I'm only good at the building part, so I'll either wait for a pre-painted kit or some sort of die-cast model like the corgi ones I have

I would rather have this... but i dont think 2000.oo is going to be worth the price of getting one of these things... i dont think its that amount... but i have looked at the other replicas that they have and they're of a lesser size that go for around 1500.00.

I thought the new design would grow on me but oh these many months later I haven't found it be come close to the beauty of the TOS E or the E's best incarnation, the TMP refit.

It's not the best design, the TMP refit and excelsior class have forever engrained themselves as my favourite starships but I do enjoy a good painting and construction session watching the ship come together. For those who aren't a fan of the Abramsprise, could maybe build the model and add extensive battle damage before hanging it off the old ceiling.
