Default The Questor Tapes... take two?

Just got this from Michael Okuda... thought you all might be interested...

Could be good... IF they get some talented writers, and IF they can avoid the studio/networks from wanting to turn it into the "android version of The Fugative." Like they did the last time.

In THE QUESTOR TAPES, an android named Questor sets out to learn about his meaning, purpose, and locate his creator. In spirit, he's something of a successor to Spock in the original STAR TREK series, and very much a precursor of Data in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION.
Sounds more like a take on V'Ger.

I've never seen the original I'm afraid - but if it gets developed by the right people then perhaps, perhaps....
