Default Different Diamond Select TOS Enterprise Ship?

How many versions did DS make of the TOS Enterprise? I received off ebay what I thought was the HD version. It has the same packaging I have seen for the HD version. It is not the 40th Ann version. How ever it does not have the saucer detail, except the 6 white square windows? around the top. There are no grid line or weathered (rust?) detail as I have seen on the HD version. It is also a darker grey color over all, there is vertualy no two-tone color scheme at all. The DS ship is heads above the Playmates version released years ago, just a little smaller. Just wondering if anyone else has seen or own this version.

Default My Ship pic

This is mine. The flash made it look a lighter grey than it is. Maybe use a spotlight for effect. The only other thing was the fit of its sections are not that good. I've been a modeler for 35 years. Fit & finish are a thing for me. I might do some touch up on it.

No. It was in the same box that the HD version comes in. It has more detail paint ( the squares on top of the saucer are painted white, The 40th Ann was plain. ) It does not have the grid lines or weathered section on the top. And the overall grey is darker in color than others I have seen. Read this scathing review on the 40th version at http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_050907b.htm .

5 versions, Regular, Where No Man Has Gone Before, Cage, Mirror Mirror and HD. I don't have the HD one I didn't see the point in buying a ship with extra paint. If they lit up extra stuff I'd go for it but they haven't. The regular version has two different shuttle doors though. The first batch(I have it) had a smooth door and the replacement I got had grooves in the hanger door.
