Default Avatar DEPRESSION SUPPORT GROUPS?!!!

has anyone heard about these so called "Avatar Depression Support Groups"? My friend was telling me about them yesterday and I thought he was joking, turns out he was telling the truth. The question I want to know the answer to is: WHY THE HELL IS THERE A DAMNED SUPPORT GROUP FOR A DAMNED MOVIE?! ITS A F***ING RIPOFF OF DANCES WITH WOLVES...IN SPACE! What, did they have any "Dances with Wolves support groups"? Don't believe me? Here is a link to a forum page dedicated to find ways to cope with Avatar Depression Syndrome or (A.D.S.) Sounds like a bunch of (C.R.A.P.) to me. Aye Yah, what has this world come to?!

It's not so different to helplines getting set up in the wake of the publication of the final Harry Potter or people in young girls in tears at the splitting up of The Beatles decades ago.

In both cases one could wonder - why?

But then some people immerse themselves in this stuff so much they take it to a whole other level of perception. It's a bit of a pity but the phenomenon itself is not unique to Avatar. It's more indicative of the individual's mindset.

You could see how many it attracts - I don't know if there has to be a minimum number for a site or phone line to be set up.
