Looks like it will start off reasonably well - after all the delays and opening on Valentine's Weekend I'm a little surprised it's started so relatively well.

Surprising, and yet I think that Percy Jackson thing looks kinda good.

I dunno - most predictions I had seen didn't peg The Wolfman as topping $30 million even across the entire four day weekend.

What is impressive is that AVATAR only fell an estimated 3.7% from last weekend to take another $22 million, not counting the fourth day.

Since Valentine's Day was the predestined champ anyway, all the other flicks out seem to have done pretty well.

Especially given The Wolfman has been sitting there for a year and has had known problems pre-release. The only thing I find confusing is that I had previously seen the budget for it as $85 million, but per Box Office Mojo it's now reported as being $150 million - which is quite a jump!
