Default Comments for Martok's "Star Trek: Absolution"--

If you like (or don't like) what you're reading in my treatment for Star Trek: Absolution, please, post your thoughts here, and not in the story thread.

I'd love to hear your thoughts for good or ill.

Humbly, and respectfully,
Martok2112

Love it, Martok! You're really talented! Thumbs up! I hope Galia and Riker (great-grandfather of Commander Riker?) survive!

I would start the movie off with J.J. Abrams asking for absolution from Star Trek fans. Hehehe.

Ah dinna think there's a big enough "raspberry" to respond to that. LOL!

I'm interested to see how it develops. A bit early yet.

I love your take on the characters, and that interaction between Kir, Uhura and Spock.

I also love seeing the day-to-day activities of the crew as well.

Why do I get the feeling Carol Marcus may turn up at Regula I?

Thanks, One Buck.

One of the things that I always enjoyed of the original series, and the first six films vs. TNG and the next gen films were the interpersonal aspects that were often woven into the stories. That's something I'm trying to strive for, as a balance in this story.....something that will feel familiar to original series fans, and counter-point it with the fast pace of the Kurzman/Orci style.

Carol Marcus came to my mind as well. Thanks for Nurse Chapel. How about a little Janice Rand?

And two things will bring you absolution from me -
1) some heroism from Keenser, and
2) more Gaila!

It's fun reading, Martok. Thanks!

Thank you, Beastie. I am glad you find it so enjoyable.

I have plans now.....some which already seem to have fallen into predictability....so now, that makes me work harder to make sure the story is entertaining.
