You have higher expectations for my emotions that I do. I know you guys are looking for some "sour grapes" to throw because you disagree with the facts but Orci-kurtzman did an excellent job with writing most of the characters of Trek which is what the adapted screen play is for. I've never disagreed with the portrayal of the actors except maybe Kirk...but it is an adaptation.

I can agree. Spocks brain was a script that was highly implausible considering what we know about biology which makes this movie somewhat of a homage to the worse of Trek.

What other story does it tell? You like the script? That's fine, just say so and tell us why.
No need to use pseudo-objective arguments like awards and how much money the flick made ... this leads us into the well-known loop of the movie is good because it made a lot of money and won a lot of awards and the movie has made a lot of money and won a lot of awards because it is good and ...

And yeah, in my humble and entirely irrelevant opinion, the movie was great. Except for a few designs like the E and engineering and the bad writing.

I think it was a good story. TMP was better, WOK worse, TVH much better and also TUC was better. But TFF and GEN were a lot worse

Yes the guild is much like asking a workers union if all it's employee's have done a good job. According to them they'll always say yes.
