As an actor, stepping into this film and one of these iconic roles must be daunting to say the least. I think the good news is that Abrams will probably balance that "responsibility" with creativity, so the actors can make these roles their own instead of doing impersonations of the original actors.

Not to mention there's a lot riding on the film's success in general -- it's kind of a double whammy for the actors to do well as this beloved crew. Yet in all the interviews, everyone seems to be having a good deal of fun working on TREK -- another good sign.

What i get from this, is that Cho is a cool guy who is working very hard and feeling no small pressure to live up to the challenge of playing the very well known Sulu. The other thing i get from this is: DON'T EXPECT A BLOODY FLIPPIN' THING FROM J.J. ABRAMS CAUSE WE AIN'T GONNA GET SO MUCH AS A SCRAP! Our intrepid director is going to keep totally close lipped and silent and i doubt if we're ever going to see what the STXI Enterprise looks like until fifteen minutes after we sit down in the theater and have eaten half our popcorn. And that's the way it is, Thursday, March 13th, 2008.
