The one-dimensional thing is a common Cameron issue, but since the allegory part remains valid enough after all these years I suppose there's a mild question mark over whether it really needed to be subtle anyway.

The basic 'going native' structure lends itself to that direction normally and while it may be an old question, it's still timely.
