Yeah - her political views don't float with me.........but she certainly had a certain appeal!!!

She certainly had some disturbing viewpoints (I'll agree with that in a heartbeat), but at least she wasn't going to turn our country into a surrender monkey.

Those 2 grate me to no end, but I find them relatively easy to ignore. I think (hope) Palin has embarassed herself enough so that her own party will want to distance itself from her. As John Cleese put it, "Michael is no longer the funniest Palin in the world."

I missed that one. He is always one for a quick political quip.

Sorry, but I don't get that Palin thing. Yes, she did mess up Mr. McCain's election (who would have made a fine president in my humble European-lefty opinion), yes she did not seem like the brightest one, but that's true for every second politician.

I think some people found some of her views not just annoying but downright offensive. I think her view that a woman who has been raped should not be given the option of an abortion doesn't play well with the pro-choice lobby. I think also her lack of ... shall we say intellectual capacity frightened people since they were just coming out of a term of office for a president who said that the Iraqis should not misunderestimate the Americans (and about a hundred other humourous, but frightening quotes)

TBH I found her more annoying in 2008 than in 2009. My vote still goes to Katie Price AKA Jordan. Oh yes an Silvio Berlusconi. He always annoys me.

If anyone really thinks Palin should occupy the same office as Jefferson... or Lincoln... or FDR.... or Reagan.... well, I'd love to hear the reasoning behind that.

It would be the same office as Dubya and let's be honest, he was hardly blessed in the intellect department.

Intellect is overrated, Palin kicks a*s. That's reason enough for Palin 2012.
