Wow I have to think about this one. Well the first person to come to mind is Sarah. But I dont know if she is annoying or merely laughable.

I'm not sure whose face I couldn't stand more this past summer: Jon & Kate or Susan Boyle. Speidi are big contenders too.

The focus on celebrity deaths really annoys me. My wife was following Patrick Swayze's demise very closely and aparwhile she's an oncology treatment nurse, I couldn't see why his experience should grip her more than any of her other patients. It really bugs the $hit out of me when someone in my hospital says about a VIP patient, "Oh, do you know who s/he is?" I can only reply, "Yeah, someone's father/mother/sister/brother/child/etc... just like the rest of my patients." And to be doing somethig "more" for them implies that I'd be doing something "less" for someone else, thus I refuse to cave to that BS.

So I've changed my mind- to me the most annoying person was every celebrity who died this past year who gripped the attention of people more than the economy, the state of health care, the wars, and everything else wrong that we still have a chance to fix did.

Actually I have to agree with both Vuedoc and Jerhanner! The cult of celebrity has made the death of celebrities a reason for national mourning. Sure it's sad when someone in their 30s dies but no more so if they are famous. This year in Britain we had Jade Goody (a reality TV star) and Stephen Gately from boy band Boyzone and the press attention was ridiculous. The coverage of Michael Jackson's death was nauseating. Before he dies, no one had a good word to say about him and as soon as he died folk were asking for him to be sainted. I have to say it is the press who annoyed me and my fellow countrymen, not the celebrities who dies this year.

The other person who bugged the sh!t out of me was Jordan AKA Katie Price. Another reality TV star who tried to manipulate the media to make her ex-husband looked bad and ended up just looking like a sad idiot.
