T.J. Hooker will be the next cop show to get remade into a feature film.

Shatner doesn't do cameo's and the Shat will be pissed if Pine gets the role over him. Or anybody in that fact.

You have got to be f***ing kidding me. Remade TV 70s-80s cop shows often dont work. On the other hand sometimes they do. Police Squad comes to mind.

That's got to be one of the worst ideas Hollywood has recently had. Hooker wasn't even a good cop show. Who is gonna wanna see this?

I'm sure they'll make it regardless, but I really have no idea why they think such an average show needs remade.

I think it all depends on who they get to play the role of Stacy Sheridan.
Heather Locklear was quite the attractive woman back in those days.

They'd have to do it very differently for the big screen. This isn't a show like Star Trek that can stand on it's own laurels. I'm talking R rating here. There's no way a cheezy show like that would make it as a movie without more extreme action, language, and violence. And tits, DEFINITELY TITS! Hence, the R rating. (Did I forget the "strong sexual content")?
