Default Poll re: Ghostbusters 3

Anyone who has seen the newest among news releases regarding Ghosbusters 3 (I read them in Google) may have noticed that Peter Venkman will apparently be a ghost, suggesting the plot includes the death of this character. Apparerently, Murray has stated he will only do another GB movie if his character dies.

Who is your favorite Ghostbuster? Are you happy with this decision?

*yes
*no
*indifferent

Do you plan to see this movie?

*Yes
*No
*Maybe

Has leaked plot information your decision on the movie thus far?

*Yes
*No

Is your opinion subject to influence by whomever may co-star in the film?

*Yes
*No
*Maybe

If doing so would prolong the character, what would your opinion be of Peter Venkman's character being recast by another actor (i.e. George Clooney)?

*Positive opinion
*Negative opinion
*Indifferent

(I'll go ahead and fill in my answers)

Who is your favorite Ghostbuster? Are you happy with this decision?

*yes
*no
*indifferent

Fav Ghostbuster: I'll admit it, it's Venkman (thus, this poll)
No, I'm not happy with this decision / movie plot

Do you plan to see this movie?

*Yes
*No
*Maybe

No, not at this time.

Has leaked plot information your decision on the movie thus far?

*Yes
*No

Yes

Is your opinion subject to influence by whomever may co-star as "Oscar"?

*Yes
*No
*Maybe

No. Outside any clarification of plot details, I can't see my opinion changing

If doing so would prolong the character, what would your opinion be of Peter Venkman's character being recast by another actor (i.e. George Clooney)?

*Positive opinion
*Negative opinion
*Indifferent

I'd miss seeing Murray in that role, but am nevertheless indifferent

I don't really have a favourite, I like the first film only - but not one character above the rest.

So that would make me an 'indifferent'

Don't have a favorite, the characters work because of the way they play off of each other. I'm nervous but hopeful that a sequel will be good.

I will definitely see it, but I might wait for the DVD

No, I try not to read spoilers so I don't know too much about it.

No, I'll want to see it no matter who co-stars

Absolutely no recasting, either bring back the originals or leave it alone

First I would make this the final movie. The actors are all around and still in the biz one way or another so I wouldnt have done it unless all were available. So long as the movie is well done it will do just fine with Bill turning into a ghost. It would open up quite a bit of hilarity for jokes and such. I probably wont see it in the theaters since I hardly go anymore but certainly I will rent it. If its REALLY good I will buy it.

All that said, if after a few more years following this movie they want to try a TNG movie of Ghostbusters maybe that would work. But the actors would have to really click and play off each other perfectly.

Loved the first movie. Loved all the characters. Disappointed that they're doing ANOTHER sequel? Not entirely, but it better be damned funny.

Wasn't the recent Ghostbusters game essentially based around what they would have done with a third film?
