While I'll agree that TOS is the best, I will still miss seeing the TNG characters too. That show really was pretty good and it built onto a lot of Trek's fictional history. That being said, I guess that the ones I'd like to see more of (but probably won't see) are Troi, Worf, and maybe Picard.

I would like to see Ron Tracy, which I heard was in the film over at startrek.com movie board, before he lost his crew in TOS. He seemed he would have been a most capable captain in combat. Another would be Bob Wesley. They all new each other close hence in the TV show when they acknowledged each other by there first names.

Gary Mitchell, alot of history with him and Kirk, would connect alot of dots, and could cover the tombstone typo in "Where no man has gone before"

Joanna, McCoy's daughter that was supposed to appear in a TOS episode, but that episode was rewritten to I think "This Side of Paradise" or "The Way to Eden" and so she was only mentioned in an episode of the Animated Series and we never got to see her.

Dr. Piper
Starshelle, Joanna was supposed to be one of the space hippies in This Side of Paradise...apparently they decided that this would add intelligent drama to the episode so decided to highlight supposed teen heart throb Chekov by turning the character into his ex-girlfriend.

Oh, I'm pretty sure "The Way to Eden" was the hippy episode. Is that the one you mean? "This Side of Paradise" had to do with these spores on a planet infecting everyone and Leila coveting Spock and taking advantage of spores loosening him up.
